Stephen Lockwood, MD, MPH
Dr. Lockwood received both his undergraduate and medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also holds a Master’s in Public Health from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health in Portland, Oregon. Following medical school graduation, he moved to Boston, MA where he spent one year as a Pathology resident at Harvard’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital, followed by a clinical trials research fellowship in the Department of Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Lockwood then moved south to complete a preliminary medicine year at the University of Florida, followed by a Dermatology residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
He has authored several peer-reviewed publications in medical journals and textbooks, including the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, British Journal of Dermatology, and the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Lockwood is excited to move to St. Pete and join the Visage Dermatology team. His professional interests include both cosmetic dermatology (neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP, laser and light devices), as well as general and complex medical dermatology (skin cancer screening, acne, rosacea, alopecia, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and other immune-mediated skin conditions).
